Magnifique ❤️❤️❤️ Les doutes et les tourments du majordome d'une grande famille anglaise qui, en 1956, après trente années de parfait service, se demande s'il n'a pas gaspillé sa vie.
🎬 James Ivory a ce don pour dépeindre à la perfection les sentiments dans cette atmosphère de l’Angleterre du début du 20ème siècle. Le couple Emma Thompson, Anthony Hopkins est tout en subtilité et justesse, on ne peut qu'être touché par cette histoire sur laquelle pèse le poids de l'Histoire. Situé dans la période de l'entre-deux-guerre, le film nous plonge au cœur du parcours d'un majordome qui, après trente années de service, se demande s'il n'a pas gâché sa vie. Un film magnifique à voir absolument, le paquet de mouchoirs à portée de mains. 🎬 🎬 🎬
